interspersions: philosophE | multiplanar art exhibition and installation
Details TBD due to Covid
Anticipated in late 2021
Interspersions are a demonstrative language that communicates abstract concepts like theoretical phenomena, consciousness, philosophies, and other life aspects lacking physicality. Since visual images are processed by our brains 60,000 times faster than text, I am creating a visual language that can ultimately speed up education and communication so we can keep up with our ever-changing high-speed times. Imagine learning a new skill simply by “reading” images.
Some of the most important life skills are of an invisible nature. Skills like persistence, the power of choice, and how to overcome situations like the loss of a loved one are often neglected in the traditional education process. As a result, mental and emotional health issues are on the rise. In 2017 (long before Covid), 792 million people worldwide reported mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. My intention is to share an efficient way of teaching the invisible pieces of life for the betterment of humanity.
The philosophE exhibition and installation concerns precisely that! I've visualized some of our invisible pieces, exposed patterns often too large to see, and demonstrated a more efficient way of bringing things to light. Time will tell if my efforts are worthwhile and I look forward to the experiment!
