The Story of PENDULUMS...
Pendulums are an investigatory series delving into perceptions of time, relativity, time-travel, parallel universes, and related elusive elements of our existence. I didn't realize this then, but the shapes and colors I used in my first non-representational abstraction when I was merely 15 sporadically surfaced in my art throughout the years and shine like a diamond in this particular series. Interestingly enough, that was precisely the time I discovered philosophers and scientists who dealt with similar topics which I fancied.
For 40+ years, I have been absorbed in my empirical theories and trying to connect the pieces of this colossal puzzle. I think harnessing the mercurial essence of time is key to our evolutionary journey. We need to understand the planar webs which create a spacetime map, but our triangulated field is not yet vast enough to see the whole pattern. I have the deepest faith in science with high expectations that, in a relatively near future, we will see the unseen in a way I have only imagined. I look forward to the satisfaction of knowing all I suspected to be true as truth is one of my driving forces.
